祝贺上师二外国际部剑桥课程学生在2021年澳大利亚数学思维挑战(AMC)中荣获大奖

一直以来数学都是众多学科中备受学生喜爱的科目之一。作为一门基础学科，它直接影响着一个人的思维和逻辑。为了帮助学生更好地建立数学理念，发现兴趣，竞赛已成为一种有效的激励手段。

本着不断挑战，突破自我的信念，国际部(剑桥A-LEVEL课程)的同学在各项竞赛中都能够披荆斩棘，勇夺桂冠。在本次的AMC数学竞赛中便获得了喜人的成绩。

竞赛试题设置5个难度级别，旨在丰富各个阶段学生的数学教育内容，提供更前沿的数学思想、理论动态和教育资源。其含金量是首屈一指的。此次国际部(剑桥A-LEVEL课程)的参赛学生获得了全国二等奖，全国三等奖，数学技能奖。

再次恭喜以上所有获奖同学，在收获喜悦的同时，相信这将为他们在今后升学的竞争力上又增添辉煌的一笔。

My thoughts about the AMC

I feel really honored to share with you the achievements of our hard-working young students. Seeing the spirit and enthusiasm, they have shown taking the AMC in September this year makes me proud. We are celebrating enthusiasm, commitment, and nothing other than hard work. Enthusiasm sets fire to the imagination. Imagination is the key factor to solving some challenging math problems. Not to mention here that the Australian Mathematics Competition is considered one of the most difficult contests high school students can take.

我很荣幸能与大家分享我们这些勤劳的同学们今天所取得的成就。今年9月能参加AMC比赛让我感到自豪，我看到了他们的拼搏精神与热情。此刻我们庆祝这份热情、承诺和付出。因为热情将激发想象力。想象力是解决一切挑战性数学问题的关键。更不用说澳大利亚数学竞赛被认为是高中生能参加的最难的竞赛之一。

At the beginning of this semester, together with my students, we outset a math club with only ten students. All of them got a prize in this competition.Thanks to that fact, they kindle the spirit of inquiry in some of their colleagues. Right now, this club is a group of 18. I have realized that in this process, students had more than just fun – they opened up to receiving and downloading critical thinking. This success in the AMC is not an accident. They will learn more tricks and tips and achieve even better results in the future.

在这学期开始，我和学生们一起成立了一个开始只有十名学生的数学俱乐部。他们都在这次比赛中获了奖。正因为如此，这激发了其他学生的探究精神。现在，我们的俱乐部已经增加到18人。我意识到，在这个过程中，学生们不仅仅是玩得开心——他们更多地是接受和调动了批判性思维。AMC的这次成功并非偶然。学生们将学习更多的答题技巧和思考方式，并在未来取得更好的成绩。

In the world of science, it will always be impossible to say that we have all the answers, of course, but throughout the competitions, the students will continue to seek solutions in the years to come. That is the reason why taking participation in the various contests is crucial for mental and spiritual growth.

当然，在科学的世界里永远不可能找到所有的答案，但在整个比赛中，学生们将在未来的岁月中继续寻求解决方案。这就是为什么参加各种比赛对心智和精神成长至关重要的原因。
